Hello Zach (or whoever at {company} grabs this request) -- 1. Please add a mailbox identity for me. Need it to be effective by Tuesday close-of-business, please. 2. My permanent user name is sjpotash@{domain}.com 3. However, I am the default for our company (or thought I was...) and I usually identify my email address to people as: steve@{domain}.com . It always works fine and mail comes into my inbox just the same as if it were addressed to sjpotash@{domain}.com ; 4. Now, I need to add an ADDITIONAL email address for the SAME user. Would you call that an "alias"? Explanation: I am head of a group of heart patients who call themselves Mended Hearts. I have just published a newsletter telling people they can reach me at MendedHearts@{domain}.com . It will be received by people Tomorrow (Tues.). Although I thought I was the {domain}.com default and that ANY prefix would work with {domain}.com, I have just tested and MendedHearts@{domain}.com is NOT coming through to me. Please, Zach, can you activate the new acronym email address for me during the day Tues., so it will be working when people get their copies of the new newsletter, tomorrow? 5. To re-state: please don't delete or change the two addresses I already use, which are sjpotash@{domain}.com and steve@{domain}.com. But please DO ADD the ADDITIONAL address (or alias) for my inbox: MendedHearts@{domain}.com (or, of course, mendedhearts@{domain}.com ) PLS CALL TO CONFIRM THIS CAN BE DONE TUES AND AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
