Tom, The 'are you so busy' comment you made on Jabber was entirely unacceptable in a professional environment. Over the past few weeks you have added quite a few different tasks and responsibilities to my plate. Yes, I do have the time and ability to do this all. However, I feel that it is out of my current pay rating. I understand that *****/**** is a small company comparatively, however the average system/network admin makes between $18 and $25+ an hour to do half the things I do in twice the time given, even Tier 1/2 support make $14 to $18/hr. I know that Will and yourself do not know linux very well, but I can't hold your hands and show you everything linux. You will both need to install a non-gui linux on a system and learn it like the back of your hand without the use of webmin or any thing like it. If you guys have questions about locations or about a specific problem, I am more than happy to help, but I currently will not answer questions about basic linux use, as there are thousands of resources for learning linux and asking basic linux questions. Besides google, your best bet is to add a new IRC account to pidgin, and joining the server irc.freenode.net after the window is open, type /join ##linux Or you can type /join #centos and ask questions there. I also understand that I am essentially the one tech for ***** at the moment, however the fact that Will called me on Sunday, made me very unhappy. Firstly, it was a Sunday and I shouldn't have been working. Second, it was my birthday. I'd be more than happy to build a recovery plan, plan and perform 300+ migrations, provide support, admin all of the ***** servers all the time, be available for you guys to call whenever and, handle every other project that keeps getting put on my plate, but I cannot do so for $12.50 an hour. I love this job, but I like being able to survive sanely even more. That being said, I would like a renegotiation of my contract, hourly 8-4 m-f normally, and for emergency only after that, and I am willing to negotiate on payment. It is up to you, if you would like to draw up the contract, or I can have you sign one of mine.
